Brinjal biryani - Best and Healthy recipe - Tamil Samayal Tips

This Samayal is basically in South Side areas of Tamil Nadu like Tirunelveli , Tuticorin and Kanyakumari. This Samayal is one of the popular Tamil cooking recipe . Ingredients 


  1. Brinjal - 1 Large size 
  2. Basmati - 2 cups 
  3. Onion - 1 
  4. Tomato - 1 
  5. Green chilies - 6 
  6. Paul (a) coconut milk - 3 cups 
  7. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 table spoon 
  8. Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon 
  9. Ghee - 1 table spoon 
  10. Lemon juice - 1 tea spoon 
  11. Anise - 1 tea spoon 
  12. Mint, coriander - 1 handle 
  13. Salt-oil - as needed 


Roasted items


  1. Cardamom - 3 
  2. Pattai - a small piece 
  3. Cloves - 4 
  4. Bay leaf - 2 


Method 


  1.  Cut the Onion and tomato into slices and cut green chilies.Cut the Brinjal in longitudinally. 
  2.  Wash the rice and soak for 10 minutes. Then shed light on the rear 1/2 tsp ghee, fry separately. 
  3. 1/2 table spoon of ghee and oil in a pressure cooker, put and roast the onion , tomato, green chilies , Ginger garlic paste and Brinjal one by one slowly.
  4.  After that add salt , turmeric powder and rice with coriander mint-lemon juice cooked take up to 3 whistles. 


* Note: The best combo with steamed potatoes.
